Economics Seminar Series - Hassan Bougrine (Laurentian University)

Event Description:
The Department of Economics is pleased to welcome Dr. Hassan Bougrine from Laurentian University. He will be giving a public talk titled 'Can we afford another new deal?' at our Economics Seminar Series.

Hassan Bougrine holds a PhD from the University of Ottawa and has been teaching at Laurentian University for nearly 30 years where he is currently the Chair of the Economics Department. He has been a Visiting Professor and scholar at many institutions in Latin America, Europe, and Africa. His most recent work is “The Creation of Wealth and Poverty: Means and Ways” (Routledge, 2017).

The seminar is organized by Economics and Society and will be held on Friday, March 24th at 2:30pm in Room 307 Tier Building. All are welcome to attend.
