Start Date: 5/1/2017 All Day
End Date: 5/1/2017
Event Description:
Centre on Aging's 34th Annual Spring Research Symposium
Dialogue on Aging

May 1, 2017 | 8:45 am–3:30 pm
University of Manitoba | Bannatyne Campus | 727 McDermot Avenue

Join us on May 1 for our Spring Research Symposium! This year’s sessions will address the health and well being of older adults through managing medications, maintaining oral health, keeping family caregivers healthy; reviewing the future of home care services; understanding the legal issues around medical assistance in dying, as well as the context of aging from a local and historical perspective. The Symposium will be kicking off with a reflection on the Centre on Aging’s history of nearly 35 years of aging research at the University of Manitoba.

There is no cost to attend the Spring Research Symposium. It is free to attend and open to everyone, e.g., researchers, students, practitioners, decision makers, and the general public. We hope to see you there!

Registration information
While the Spring Symposium is free to attend, registration is required. Submit your registration by April 21, 2017. After this date, Symposium attendees are asked to register in person.

Program details and registration information is available on the Centre's Web site:
